I have spent 6 years researching, experimenting, and developing my unique methods, that work for everyone, and are fun.
In 2016, I changed my life from being sick and overweight to being the healthiest and fittest I can be today, at the age of 53.
I’m a former Olympic Ski Racer and competed in the Calgary Olympic Games in 1988 when I was 18. Starting 67th in a field of 130, I came in 21st, cementing the British record at the Olympic Games, which I held until this past winter in 2022.
I was and still am the youngest ever British Senior Slalom Skiing Champion, which I claimed in 1985 at age 15.
My life has been a rollercoaster of huge ups and downs, with incredible athletic success at a young age, and multiple business and life achievements.
My dreams and career were shattered when I was 20 by a ski racing accident, which almost led to my right leg being amputated.
Thankfully, we pushed the surgeons to keep going and fix it. They did their best, yet my skiing career was over. I could not recover from that accident and come back.
I continued my life in another direction and started my first business in the sporting goods industry. That was great and fun, but it didn’t replace my skiing days.
Over time, once in my 30s, I became overweight and was often sick. My health deteriorated to the point I thought my life would soon be over, in my mid-40s.
Then something magical happened to me. I rediscovered my past athletic life and became a health coach, nutritionist, and fitness trainer.
I embarked on that journey by pure coincidence in 2016, and I haven’t looked back since.
Coaching clients and writing about my experiences over so many years are my passion today. My life’s work is no longer my skiing or old businesses. My life’s work is now helping and inspiring as many folks in the world to become fit, healthy, and happy.
People are given so much inaccurate information in the name of profit. My mission is to show you the absolute truth and nothing but the truth.
And that is exactly what I do. I have uncovered all the lies the fitness industry leads folks to believe, and I show you how to work out the right way, building a strong heart, with a healthy body and positive mind.
That’s what this book is about!
I only wish to show you how you can and should work out using your body as your gym, alone, at home, or wherever you want.
My methods make your life easier. You will succeed with your goals if you follow them, you save time, and it’s fun!
Your food, of course, is also vital to your overall health success and longevity. I touch upon food several times in the book.
